In an iconic event to marks its 5th year anniversary, the association honored her alongside other recipients such as the former first lady of Imo state Nneoma Rochas Okorocha for their immense contributions towards nation building and the development of media practice in Nigeria.

Reacting to the honor done her, Dr Asogwa expressed satisfaction at the outcome of the event which she described as impressive and timely noting that the media has enormous roles to play especially at this time that the nation grapples to free itself from the daint of bad leadership.

She thanked the organisers for finding her worthy of the honor and pledged to keep supporting every lofty agenda aimed at promoting the image of Nigeria
